This Privacy Statement applies to information, including diary responses, collected from and about you when you use this Web site, which is made available by Arbitron Inc. and its affiliated companies and subsidiaries (together, "Arbitron" or "we" or "us"). Please note that this Web site is not available for use by children under 13.

Arbitron is a media and marketing information services firm primarily serving radio, television, cable, advertising agencies, advertisers, retailers, out-of-home media, and online media. Arbitron's core businesses are measuring and estimating network and local market radio and other media audiences across the United States; providing application software used for analyzing our media audience and marketing information data; and providing consumer, shopping, and other media usage information services. We created the Arbitron Online Radio Ratings Diary to provide survey respondents with the option and convenience of completing a diary online.

Information Collection

You must have an Arbitron-established password to use and access this Web site. When you visit this site, Arbitron collects your log-in information and current email address, as well as certain information that is automatically collected each time you visit this Web site. Examples include the date and time of your visit, your browser type, operating system type, links you click, IP address, the domain name of the Web site from which you linked to our Web site, as well as information about how you use the site. We also collect personal information that you provide when you submit comments or tips, or use other interactive features. In connection with our research, Arbitron collects certain information, such as household member names, demographics, e-mail address(es), phone numbers, user IDs and passwords, from you when you register on this Web site. We also collect the diary responses that you input on this site. We may use your e-mail address, mobile phone number, and other information, including commercially available information from third parties, for our research, to contact you with updates or announcements about Arbitron, the Arbitron Online Radio Ratings Diary process, or this Web site, to request your participation in a survey, or to otherwise communicate with you. This site may be used only by Diary participants who are at least 13 years old. In accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 on this site.
